Chanel’s N°1 line consists of nine products (from powder cleanser to serum, refillable cream, makeup and fragrant water), all made from red camellia (the House’s emblematic flower), grown in the Landes region of France (with a level 3 High Environmental Value certification, the highest, and labeled in “organic farming conversion”).

Rich in stimulating active ingredients that preserve the skin’s youthfulness, the anti-aging formulas contain up to 97% ingredients of natural origin and up to 76% camellia derivatives (petals, seeds, and yeast are used so that nothing of the plant is lost). The extract of red camellia offers revitalizing properties, the camellia water is refreshing, the red camellia oil obtained by pressing the seeds preserves the skin’s hydration, the extract of yeast of the Pichia genus from the camellia’s microbiota reinforces its barrier function…

And even the shells of the red camellia seeds (very resistant) have been integrated into the cap of the creams! Because all the packaging is eco-designed.
