The Last's natural long-wearing lipstick

These transfer-free liquid lipsticks last all day and don’t dry out the lips, but what’s most remarkable is that they’re all natural (over 90%). We owe them to Last, who developed for the first time a green isododecane (the essential ingredient for any long-lasting or waterproof makeup), derived from biomass.

Isododecane is often the first ingredient in long-wearing, water-resistant makeup (it can make up to 50% of the formula). The only drawback: it is traditionally derived from petrochemicals.

Thanks to a naturally occurring isododecane, Last (and the Global Bioenergies team of scientists) is offering lifeproof makeup that’s over 90% natural. This molecule has been created without petroleum, using renewable natural resources. An innovative challenge and a militant commitment to the environmental transition.

This exclusive technology (based on biotechnologies and fermentation processes) allows to combine long-lasting and high naturalness, without any concession on the performance and intensity of colors. After the mascaras (Volume Waterproof Mascara, 9 ml, €25, three shades; Waterproof Eyebrow Mascara 2.5 ml, €18, three shades) and Long-Wear Liquid Eyeshadows (5 ml, €24, 12 shades), the brand has just launched Long-Wear Liquid Lipsticks (5 ml, €24, 14 shades with a matte finish), containing 90 to 99.8% of ingredients of natural origin, packaged in glass bottles (therefore 100% recyclable).
