Cosmoprof: new postponement to spring 2021

For the past fifty years, the beauty industry, on a worldwide scale, has been meeting at Cosmoprof. Considered one of the major events on the cosmetics industry calendar, it brings together perfume, make-up and hair brands as well as packaging manufacturers. Initially scheduled in Bologna from March 12 to 16, 2020, the 2020 edition of Cosmoprof has finally been postponed to spring 2021. A digital event, WeCosmoprof, will be organized from June 4 to 10 June 2020, to help restore the industry’s business relationships.

Cosmoprof will bring together more than 3000 exhibitors in a 200,000 m2 space, divided into three distinct areas:
• CosmoPack, dedicated to packaging, equipment and distribution suppliers
• Cosmo Perfumery Cosmetics, reserved for the different brands of finished products
• Cosmo Hair&Nails Beauty Salons, dedicated to exhibitors of brands and solutions for beauty professionals

When France meets Italy

For the first time, a press conference was held in Paris, at the Italian Embassy, to present the exhibition to French journalists on 9 October 2019. “We obviously intend to present the event to other European countries, but France has established itself as an obvious first step,” explains Giampiero Calzolari, President of BolognaFiere, organiser of Cosmoprof. “Our show is an important showcase for French industry, which can meet companies and professionals from more than 150 countries. At the same time, the presence of French production excellence strengthens Cosmoprof’s role as an international observatory for the sector. It is therefore essential to consolidate the synergies between our show and French production associations and districts, in order to work together for the growth of the sector.”
