Cosmetic Valley : une relance en six points

The competitiveness cluster held its General Assembly on June 29, 2021. 200 members gathered in Orléans with the board of directors chaired by Marc-Antoine Jamet. It was an opportunity for Cosmetic Valley to look to the future and to present its objectives to its members in order to boost the industry.

Since the beginning of the Covid-19 crisis, the revival of the cosmetics sector is one of the major ambitions of the Cosmetic Valley. The cluster had also convened États-Généraux in October 2020 to reorganize the industry.

After announcing the re-election of Marc-Antoine Jamet as president of the cluster for a three-year term, the board took advantage of the General Assembly to unveil its six medium/short-term strategic challenges.

Continue to support SMEs
Cosmetic Valley wants to increase its support to SMEs through its “revival desk”, an efficient gateway to enable SMEs to benefit from regional, national and European aid plans.

Consolidating the cluster’s core business by boosting research at the national and European levels
On the morning of the cluster’s General Assembly on Tuesday 29 June, 30 R&D managers took part in the first “Scientific Committee of the sector” organized at the initiative of Cosmetic Valley to define the industry’s innovation challenges and the actions to be implemented to meet them.
