Cosmed, Cosmetic Valley : changes in the top management

Two important organizations of the French "cosmetics world" have new managers. The Cosmetic Valley competitiveness cluster has elected as its President a manager from LVMH, Marc-Antoine Jamet, who is the group’s secretary-general. Jean-Marc Giroux is the new President of the Cosmed Association.

The change  of the Cosmetic Valley’s head manager occurred on June 24, during the General Assembly.
Marc-Antoine Jamet succeeds Alban Muller as president; Alban Muller was the President since 2005.
The new President, who is a Vice-President of the French Federation of the Fragrances Industries ( FEBEA , as per its French acronym), shall "run the strategy for the Cosmetic Valley by 2015 and prepare the new contract of performance of the cluster for the 2012-2015 period".
A member of the State Court of Auditors, Marc-Antoine Jamet is the secretary-general of the group LVMH Louis Vuitton-Moët Hennessy since 2001. A graduate of the French Ecole Nationale d’Administration, he is also the CEO of the Jardin d’Acclimatation, an amusement park near Paris, since 2004.

The Board of Directors of Cosmed , also held on this same June 24, elected Jean-Marc Giroux as the President of the association Cosmed in lieu of André-Jean Brin, who resigned for personal reasons.
A doctor in pharmacy, an expert in toxicology since 1981, with a transverse career through pharmacy, cosmetics and functional food, currently he is a consultant for companies in the functional food and the cosmetics industries. He was the Cosmed Vice-President …
