undefined

The French Environment and Energy Management Agency (ADEME) published an updated version of its Triman marking system user’s handbook. This new version aims to provide better answers to questions asked by professionals.

Enforced on January 1, 2015, the Triman logo helps consumers identify the recyclable packaging subject to sorting instructions. This marking system targets the household packaging of products manufactured in France or imported into the French territory. The Triman logo must be affixed to all or parts of household packaging (cosmetics belong to this category) that is both recyclable and subject to sorting instructions.

The ADEME’s handbook is a set of recommendations intended to help users apply this marking system, with a view to creating a harmonised system that will be more readily understandable for citizens and consumers in France.
It details the presentation of the signage system, how the signage should bé displayed, and specific features by product chain.
