A mouth to feed...

© L'Observatoire des Cosmétiques

Rescue" formulas with the taste of candy, kissable pillow domes, highly worked perfumes, subtly coloured glossy shine, predominance of sticks and small jars… the new lip ointments make the mouth beautiful and appetizing! More greediness and beauty, such is the cosmetic trend of winter 2015 to pamper our smile..;

There are the sure values like Labello (Stick Lèvres Classic Care, 1,90 €), the creator of the first stick lips in 1911, Mixa (last novelty: Soin des Lèvres Multi-Confort Cold Cream, 2,20 €) or Nuxe whose Baume Rêve de Miel has just celebrated the twentieth anniversary with limited editions with coloured decorations (11,25 €). Blockbusters from mass distribution and the pharmacy. There are the more confidential creations with delicious perfumes like the heart of Lip Clementine to love Nourishing Balm Les Sens de Marrakech (12.60 €), or the violet scents of the latest Kiss Me Sweet Mona by Miss Ferling (8.95 €). But, whatever the distribution channel, the formulas resemble feasts that make the mouth water (honey, argan, mango and shea butter) and all evolve towards more greediness, naturality and sensoriality. And now everyone's getting into it! Labello proposes Gourmet Balms with the perfume Coconut (2,90 €). Its Fruity Shine (2.65 €), which delicately moisturizes and colours the lips, comes in strawberry, cherry, peach or watermelon aromas… The new Nutrissance Repair Lip Balm from Rogé Cavaillès (€3.90) envelops the lips in a natural vanilla scent. And Melvita treats them with 3 organic honeys (Nectar Lip Balm 3 honeys, 10.50 €). Honey perfume and hazelnut and apricot kernel vegetable oils for Daniel Jouvance Omega Lip Balm (11 €). And an exotic and original fragrance from Sweet Chai Tea for Lavera's latest Lip Balm (€3.40), which combines the moisturizing properties of organic Chai tea with spices (cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, ginger…).

Stick for the day and small pot for the night

The two packaging in vogue this winter are the stick and the small pot. Exit applicators with beveled tip or other roll-on. The word we use is"contact". We like to crush the stick against his lips, it is sensual and irreplaceable to give a feeling of nutrition and cosmetic material very present. In 2015, we adopt the stick during the day (Baume Lèvres Karité 10%, Stick Lèvres Ultra-Riche L'Occitane-en-Provence, 6.50 €, from January 28 ; Stick Lèvres Haute Nutrition 8 H with natural cold cream Bio-Beauté by Nuxe, 5.90 €) and the balm in small pot in the evening. This last one allows to apply a thick layer (like mask or poultice) to repair damaged lips during the night. Among the latest novelties: Doudoune for Lips by Erborian (16 €), or the Rose By Terry Balm limited edition 10 years adorned with small silver hearts (46 €).

More glamorous lip cajolers…

In the ritual exercise of lip nutrition, what makes the difference in 2015 is the"beauty bonus", thanks to : - delicate shades that enhance the mouth: Baby Lips Dr Rescue lip balm intensive care Gemey-Maybelline, 3.90 €, 3 shades; Kiss Me Balm Sephora, 6.95 €, 6 shades in a soft dome cushion effect), - mother-of-pearl scattered with gold reflections: Red Dior Balm 128 Star tint, 36.50 €, - Malignant and universal pigments that react to the pH and humidity of the lips to produce a perfectly customised rosy glow: Clarins Lip Beautifying Shine Balm 03 My Pink, 17 € ; Lip Balm Sephora Colour Revealer, 12.95 € ; L'Unique à Lèvres collection Flamingo Spring/Summer 2015 T. Leclerc, 24,75 €, in March.
