Groupe Rocher wins "Reducing environmental impact" award

Le Groupe Rocher remporte le Prix "Réduction de l’impact environnemental"

For the past seven years, the Essec Grande Consommation Chair has been recognizing companies’ sustainable initiatives. And now it’s Groupe Rocher’s turn to be congratulated for its actions. In particular, the jury’s attention was drawn to the “La Gacilly Territoire Bas Carbone” project.

Committed to a rapid decarbonization plan, Groupe Rocher has decided to step up its efforts at its La Gacilly production site.

On this project, the company intends to:
• Reduce its greenhouse gas emissions by 75% by 2019
• Use 85% renewable energy
• Raise employee awareness of the challenges of low-carbon consumption

“Thank you for recognizing this project. This award recognizes the exceptional commitment and involvement of our teams and partners, as well as the distinctive and innovative nature of our approach. Together, we are helping to imagine and create a low-carbon world,” said Marion Decroix, Quality and Sustainable Development Director for Groupe Rocher Operations.

The award was presented on February 8, 2024. The jury was made up of ESSEC students and experts in CSR and consumer issues.
