Léko calls for projects for responsible packaging

The eco-organisation Léko and the Ulule platform are launching the “Responsible Packaging” campaign, to support companies and associations that act in favour of waste reduction. The two companies want to encourage the emergence of ten projects promoting the reduction of household waste or limiting its impact on the environment.

To meet the challenge of reusing and recycling household packaging, the eco-organisation Léko and Ulule are launching a call for projects from all those who are innovating in this field. The aim is to bring out the best practices and help the entire sector to develop new models.
This programme, “Responsible Packaging”, will reward ten innovative projects, to spread these initiatives throughout France.

Applicant associations or companies must integrate circular economy practices into the design and management of packaging by meeting one of these three criteria:
• Propose a product that uses innovative recyclable or reusable packaging
• Propose a solution for collecting or processing packaging to facilitate reuse or recycling
• Propose a product made from recycled household packaging

Each application will be studied by a selection committee, composed of Léko and Ulule teams.
Between November 2022 and June 2023, ten projects will be chosen, each receiving €5,000 in financial support, personalised support and contact with the Léko teams.
They will also be promoted to the Ulule and Léko communities through the production of a video.
Finally, in June 2023, the ten winning projects will be submitted to the Ulule and Léko public vote. An additional grand prize of …
