As a child, Yves Coueslant, one of the founders of Diptyque, spent his summers by the sea, in the pagodon his father had built in Do Son, near Along Bay.
Far from the muggy heat of the great port of Haiphong, the air was cooler. The sea breeze carried with it the scent of tuberoses, their intoxicating and gently spicy fragrance that his mother loved so much.
From this memory of childhood in Indochina was born Do Son, a delicate and persistent floral where the bewitching scent of tuberose blends with the sea air. Orange blossom and jasmine add a veil of floral freshness. Do Son is available in eau de toilette and eau de parfum. Only the “olfactory accident” (the House’s signature) differs: a marine accord for the former, amber wood for the latter.
