No restrictions nor conditions of use according to European Regulation.

In a recommendation of August 5, 2008 , Afssaps recommends to manufacturers :

• not to introduce into cosmetic products intended for children under 36  months any camphor, eucalyptol and menthol. Oral hygiene products containing menthol are excluded.
Concentration limits are accepted, however, to take account of indirect contributions that may can come, for example, from perfume compositions. Levels accepted: 150 ppm (parts per million) for Camphor, 1000 ppm for Eucalyptol and 4500 ppm for Menthol.

• to  limit, in cosmetic products intended for children from 3 to 6 years, the presence of Camphor, Eucalyptol and Menthol at maximum concentrations of 0.15% (1% = 10,000 ppm) for Camphor, 1.12% for eucalyptol, 4.5% for Menthol and 4.5% for the sum of these substances.
