We saw control authorities in open conflict with industry representatives over a controversial Health Police Decision on phenoxyethanol, or organic cosmetic sector head-on with the conventional industry over the claims “Free-from…”…

We have saw threats increase on many categories of ingredients. And they are no longer motivated solely by scientific evidence of risks to human health, such as CMRs, endocrine disruptors, nanomaterials, allergens or titanium dioxide. They also reach cosmetics due to potential environmental damage: microplastics and siloxanes may sink in the name of defending the oceans… Meanwhile, regulatory processes are ongoing. He always takes you to many congresses, with conference reports and insights from the best experts that you won’t find anywhere else…

Finally, it plunges you into the heart of the current trends, always greener and cleaner, more and more focused on personalization… and sometimes flirting with the limits of regulations when they involve a newcomer in cosmetic ingredients: cannabidiol, with the sulphurous smell of cannabis…
