Every year for the past 14 years, Cosmed invites you to an exchange day in October between scientific experts from the French cosmetics industry: the JEST. This XIVth Scientific and Technical Exchange Day will take place on 10 October 2014 in Montpellier on the theme of hair and scalp cosmetology. Great names in hair cosmetology will be present.
The day will begin with an overview of the capillary market by Sandra Jones, Account Director at Mintel.
Then the speakers will address questions of hair anatomy and physiology with Alexandre Guichard, from the dermatology department of Besançon University Hospital, as well as pathologies and discomforts with a focus on inflammatory states presented by Michèle Sayag, allergologist, Director of Medical Strategy at Bioderma Laboratories.
The actions and claims of food supplements on dander will also be discussed with Sophie Barel, regulatory specialist and Christophe Ripoll, Scientific Director of Naturactive Pierre Fabre.
After lunch, Élodie Prestat-Marquis, Head of the clinical studies laboratory and in vitro Delphine Lonfier, Head of BASF's Personal Care Application Laboratory, will discuss the development of washing bases. Hair care and products will also be on the program with Didier Guérin, Scientific Director of Laboratoires Biocos and Catherine Taurin, Manager of CT Capillaires Conseils.
The afternoon will end with an evocation of future hair innovations by Karl Lintner, Kal'Idées General Manager.
