Which skincare program for sensitive or reactive skin?

undefined

It is often said that they can’t stand almost nothing. And when it comes to cosmetics for sensitive and reactive skin, more (or too much!) is not necessarily better… The less these skins are in contact with different products, and sometimes with the many ingredients that compose them, the less likely they are to encounter one that irritates or sensitizes them… Few products (but well chosen), and each formulated as precisely as possible to limit potential sources of irritation, is a first assurance of the peace of these epidermis that there is no point in overtaxing them. This first principle is accompanied by two others, to be set up as a daily mantra: Hydration and Protection.

Moisturize

Sensitive and reactive skins often suffer from a slightly faulty balance, and rarely experience optimal hydration. However, good hydration is certainly synonymous with comfort, but also protection since the epidermis then regains thicker upper layers and is therefore better able to fulfil its function as a barrier against external aggressions. Maintaining and preserving their water content is therefore essential to hope for a better future. This usually involves the essential moisturizer.

Protect

The same cream can provide sufficient protection on a daily basis.
In some cases that are more difficult for the skin to live with (an air-conditioned environment, a period of extreme cold, a particularly dry summer…), it will simply be necessary to ensure that its moisturizing agents are among the most effective, or even that it contains an occlusive active ingredient to avoid skin water loss.
But even so, there are still times when it will be necessary to supplement it with protection more adapted to the circumstances: no sun exposure without a high SPF index cream, it is an absolute rule and it applies to the body as much as to the face.

Don’t irritate

All this is good… as long as you don’t ruin these …
