What are the major beauty and cosmetics trends for the Spring/Summer season 2017? At the last Beyond Beauty show, Beauty stylist Lucille Gauthier Braud and Research Director Pierre Bisseuil, of the Peclers Paris Agency, came to present women’s emerging aspirations as well as the colour ranges and beauty creative concepts for the Spring/Summer season 2017.

Peclers Paris is a trends, style, and innovation consulting agency specialized in fashion, cosmetics, packaging, perfume, and decoration. It has been publishing seasonal and cross-disciplinary beauty books for two years to cover the various sectors of the cosmetics business. And to go beyond traditional archetypes, Peclers founded its methodology on Archéstyles©: combinations specific and unique to each of several archetypes.
Archéstyles adjust according to current trends and are marked with seasonality, social and cultural influences, design, and fashion. They help grasp consumers’ changing desires and suit their aspirations in terms of products, services, in-store experience…
As for the Spring/Summer 2017 beauty book, five Archéstyles were determined (Healthy Glam, Early Maker, Wise Style, Arty Player, and Techno Warrior). They all share a common thread: the expression of self-enjoyment as a lifestyle.
At this Parisian conference, the two Peclers speakers unveiled the Healthy Glam and Wise Style trends.

Healthy Glam

This trend addresses eco-concerned, naturally glamorous, appealing women with a curvaceous figure who live in the city, but remain close to nature, and who aspire to get away, escape from reality.
