To answer this question and help manufacturers better understand their customers, Euromonitor, a forecasting firm, has identified 10 different types of buyers, ranging from the frugal to the spendthrift, including the hyper-connected.

Authentic automation
In the age of digital, what is the place of the human being? According to the trend firm, consumers are increasingly comfortable with artificial intelligences, as they greatly facilitate the buying journey. Nevertheless, 58% of Internet users prefer that after-sales service be provided by a human and not by a robot (19%).
“People and machines must be in sync to provide relevant solutions. Companies need to evaluate all touch points in the customer journey. Then, find those that can be fully automated versus those that must remain human to build stronger relationships with the audience,” Euromonitor analyzes.

Budgeteers
Consumers remain cautious with their wallets. Even if inflation and cost of living fall in the future, thrifty people will continue to save for the unknown.
To be attractive, brands can already implement alternative payment solutions (deferred, installment).
