Tight pants, sweating, sports… so many factors that can cause discomfort in the intimate area. And to lift the veil on these pains felt by a large part of consumers, the cosmetic brand Baûbo (which has notably launched a moisturizing cream for the vulva) has launched a large national survey in collaboration with MedFem Collective.
The “Mal à la vulve” study was conducted with a sample of 1,875 respondents.
Unpleasant, did you say unpleasant?
According to the survey, panelists report having ever felt in their vulva:

• Itching (92.3%)
• Burning (85.1%)
Respondents indicated that these manifestations were often located at the entrance to the vagina (63.3%) and on the vulva (54.5%). 13.1% added that the discomfort extended to the anal area. 40.1% explained that they experienced this phenomenon on average every month (several days).
For 8% of the panel, these pains never stop.
