What if playing video games could help green the planet? That’s the idea behind the Yves Rocher Foundation’s partnership with the game Minecraft. All you have to do is plant a tree virtually and it will be planted for real. A playful and original way to engage consumers in the preservation of nature.
Minecraft#PlantForLife is a game developed by Microsoft, in partnership with the Yves Rocher Foundation and the Sugar Pepper & Salt agency. The concept is very simple: the Internet user discovers three mini-games “to explore three emblematic Yves Rocher Foundation planting sites and discover all the good reasons to plant trees on these territories alongside partner associations.”
The goal of the Yves Rocher Foundation is to reach 100,000 trees that will be planted in several planting spots (Ecuador, France, Ethiopia).
To play, just go to the Minecraft#PlantForLife server, let yourself be guided… and start greening the forest!
