It is proud to announce this and it is indeed a first: the Federation of Beauty Companies offers a new service to all operators in the cosmetics industry, the pooling of audits of suppliers of cosmetic raw materials. For everyone, it is a saving of time and money associated with a simplification of formalities. Explanations.
This service has been designed for the benefit of different operators in the cosmetics industry, explains the FEBEA. It thus concerns manufacturers, raw material suppliers and auditing companies. For several months, the latter met to validate the appropriate reference framework and draw up the audit grid.
This pooling will enable the same audit (of one or more raw materials) to be carried out on a given manufacturing site on behalf of several customers. This audit will be performed by a qualified auditor by a Qualification Committee.
For the time being, the sites that can be audited must be located in France or Europe, but FEBEA's objective is to extend the system to the whole world.
"For cosmetic companies," says the Federation's statement,"the benefits are multiple. They benefit from a reduction in costs, a more fluid market but also a simplification of formalities, thanks to the reduction of controls on receipt of raw materials, all with the assurance of the most absolute confidentiality. Now, SMEs and VSEs can audit their suppliers at an affordable price.
And indeed, it was an SME that was the first to register for this new service.
