How does SOPHIM secure the supply of Phytosqualan?
The refiners who supply SOPHIM with condensates from the physical refining of olive oil work 365 days a year. One of its two production sites, the SOPHIM Iberia plant, celebrated its 10th anniversary in July 2024. SOPHIM Iberia processes 8,000 tonnes of olive raw materials each year to concentrate squalene and make better use of by-products.
Is the price of Phytosqualan subject to variations?
NO. As SOPHIM has proved over the last 10 years, even in times of global crisis, its circular economy model enables it to absorb the impact of fluctuations in its raw materials. The by-products generated during the manufacturing process of its ingredients are recycled by SOPHIM at its two industrial sites.
