Ingredients

They are the cornerstone of cosmetics. Whether plant extracts, synthetic substances, animal productions, simple compounds, or sophisticated raw materials, historically known or derived from recent scientific research, cosmetic ingredients all have their own stories, characteristics, functions, properties, suppliers, formulation processes, and sometimes their own regulatory restrictions. CMRs, Kojic Acid: Great Britain notifies an amendment to its cosmetics regulationsSubscribers only

The French National Assembly tackles PFASSubscribers only

On 4 April 2024, following a proposal by Nicolas Thierry, the “Les Ecologistes” MP for Gironde, the National Assembly voted on first reading to ban PFASs, particularly in cosmetic products, from 1 January 2026. The text must now continue its legislative journey through the Senate.
