The international Natural & Organic Cosmetics Conference will be held on September 29 & 30, 2020 in Berlin, with the tagline “sustainability is the new luxury”. The 13th edition of the conference will showcase current topics that are relevant to the entire cosmetics industry. With of course in focus the coronavirus crisis, which today determines the global market developments.
“The Corona crisis will, of course, be a focal point of the Natural & Organic Cosmetics Conference,” explains Wolf Lüdge, Program Chairman and managing director of the naturkosmetik verlag, which in cooperation with the Vivaness hosts the Natural & Organic Cosmetics Conference. *“We will closely examine how the Corona pandemic is affecting the cosmetics industry and how retail has coped with the challenges of the shutdown.”
But the Natural & Organic Cosmetics Conference will be looking ahead as well, reporting on postCorona consumption – initial trends are beginning to emerge in Asia.
The two keynotes are among the core features of the program: Prof. Dr. Thomas Rudolph, Director Institute of Retail Management, University St.Gallen, will be speaking about the topic of “Reinventing Retail” and explain how a lack of focus in retail can lead to “Consumer Confusion”. He will also raise the question of what is necessary for a successful transformation of businesses during disruptive times and explain how to establish a corporate culture that supports innovations.
The presentation by Prof. Dr. Dr. Franz-Josef Radermacher, Professor for Computer Science and CEO Research Institute for Applied Knowledge Processing at the University of Ulm, will focus on “a world with a future”, …
