5th approval for the Cosmetic Valley competitiveness cluster

Roland Lescure, Minister Delegate in charge of Industry, announced on Monday 27 March, alongside Harold Huwart, representative of Régions de France and Vice-President of the Centre-Val de Loire Region, the winners of the competitiveness clusters. Cosmetic Valley is thus labelled for the fifth time by the State to coordinate the French perfumery and cosmetics industry and contribute to strengthening its competitiveness.

For this new phase, Cosmetic Valley proposes a programme based on five priorities.

A strong presence in Europe
Cosmetic Valley has positioned itself as the leader of the various European clusters: it runs an active network of international partners from its office in Brussels in 2021. The cluster’s investment with the European Commission has enabled it to win a Horizon EU “ACCT4Cosmetics” programme worth €3.6 million over five years to coordinate European innovation and investment dynamics with the regions for the benefit of the entire sector.

A stronger territorial anchorage
The cluster is continuing its development in France. At the beginning of the year, the association signed two partnerships, one with the Le-de-France region and the other with the Martinique local authority.

An industry increasingly committed to innovation Cosmetic Valley supports the ecological and digital transition of VSEs and SMEs through the France 2030 programme.
This year, the cluster launched IDCOSM. Identifying, capturing and listing are among the services offered by this platform, which helps to increase the number of collaborative projects.
