For their 15th edition, the ADF (Aerosols & Dispensing Forum) and PCD (Packaging of Perfume Cosmetics & Design) exhibitions are expanding, and will be held in Pavilion 7.2 at Porte de Versailles on 30 and 31 January 2019. Design, sustainable development and French know-how will be on the focus of this edition.
ADF&PCD PARIS 2019 is a unique concept that brings together two trade shows with strong synergies. This first packaging event of the year is a leading global professional event on innovation in packaging, aerosols and distribution systems. Every year, it brings together all the players in the perfumery and cosmetics sector, but also in the pharmaceutical, food, wine and spirits, automotive sectors…
Each of the shows this year has new exhibitors and the presence of major leaders: 98 registered for ADF, 413 for PCD and 53 suppliers will be present at the two shows, including more than 100 new exhibitors.
This year, ADF&PCD PARIS is focusing on Made in France, sustainable development and the promotion of innovations.
The visitor experience was also redesigned to facilitate and encourage the many exchanges during these two days.
The highlights
Among the many new features:
• The “Made in France” itinerary will make it possible to identify and meet on site the French companies promoting French know-how in the form of guided tours for visitors
• The Eco-Tour will also highlight environmentally friendly solutions in the form of guided tours to reinvent packaging in a more sustainable way
• The Accelerator, the platform dedicated to startups and indie brands, will present a selection of newcomers to the industry
• Imprim’Luxe will have, this edition, an exceptional presence at the show to represent and promote the French know-how of professionals in the graphic industry, with more than a dozen members participating in the exhibition
Conferences
More than 50 conferences are scheduled, in a format and content that has been revised to meet visitors’ expectations. Focused on interactivity, they will allow everyone to be informed and to exchange, thanks to formats in the form of expert round tables, for the PCD part. The overall theme of the PCD conferences will focus on creating value through relevance and differentiation.
For the first time, the ADF conferences will offer delegates a round table discussion on the challenges facing the industrial and automotive sectors.
The Awards
As every year, the ADF and PCD Awards ceremony will reward the most significant innovative launches of the year. Some 100 applications, including this year’s most notable launches, were received.
Recognizing the products that marked the year 2018, the Awards highlight cosmetic product packaging innovation as well as manufacturers’ aerosols and distribution systems in different categories.
The winners will be announced at the heart of the show, on January 31 at 2:30 pm, during an awards ceremony attended by the main players in the brands and packaging industry.
