The Korean cosmetics group has just acquired the American brand specialized in “clean beauty”. Tata Harper, the eponymous founder, will nevertheless remain at the head of the company.
Tata Harper is a well-established brand in the United States. Since 2010, the company has been defending the principles of a demanding and natural cosmetic formulation.
With this acquisition, Amorepacific confirms its ambition to win new key countries, like the United States.
“I look forward to leveraging Amorepacific’s expertise to drive our company’s growth,” said Tata Harper.
Conversely, the deal will allow the brand to be distributed in Asia. “Supported by our R&D infrastructure, Tata Harper will be able to significantly expand its footprint in the Western and Asian markets,” said Jinpyo Lee, Chief Strategy Officer at Amorepacific Group.
The final acquisition is expected to occur early in the fourth quarter of 2022.
