The third R-Awards, organized by the Club Génération Responsable® and Generali, has been given to Laboratoire Body Nature, for its social commitment with its staff, and for its "Au-delà du bio®" (Beyond Organic) initiative developed since forty years. On 13 November 2012, Jean-Louis Etienne, the French explorer of Arctic and Antarctic lands, has given Gilles Guilbaud, Body Nature’s President-Founder, the 2012 R-Awards; the 2010 and 2011 prizes were given to La Poste and McDonald’s respectively. The Social HR prize has also been awarded to Body Nature.
The commitments of Body Nature in terms of societal responsibility deal with the integration of women in the economic world, as well as with equal opportunities for uneducated people, who can have access to a true job, or with the recognition of the door-to-door sales as a valid occupation.
Beyond these different aspects, the aim is also to have a full company spirit linking the headquarters, with its different functions needed for the effective operations of the business, and all the male and female counselors who, in door-to-door sales, fulfill a completely non-typical job. For its 40th anniversary, this manufacturer and distributor of eco-friendly and organic products took this opportunity to launch a unifying event, a true cohesion project for the company. An unquestionable success with the teams, the Body Nature Tour de France will have allowed 80 people from the headquarters to go to monthly meetings all over the country.
