Bpifrance and the FEBEA launch the Beauty Accelerator

Bpifrance et la FEBEA lancent l’Accélérateur Beauté

On June 8, 2022, Bpifrance and FEBEA confirmed their association to launch the first promotion of the Beauty Accelerator, with the support of Chanel, Clarins, L’Oréal, LVMH, Pierre Fabre and Cosmetic Valley. 12 cosmetics companies will benefit from 18 months of personalised support, surrounded by the big names in beauty.

Under the aegis of the FEBEA, five major players in the Beauty industry have come together, along with Cosmetic Valley, to unite their French suppliers around this Accelerator.
This programme brings together SMEs and ETIs in formulation, equipment and packaging, chosen for their ambition and strong development prospects. Thanks to a programme combining advice, networking and training (provided by SKEMA Business School), these 12 companies (ABC texture, Aiglon, Alliora, G. Pivaudan, George Mathai, Greentech, ETS Martinenq, Medicos, Neyret, Strand Cosmetics Europe, Technature, The Gift Lab) will be supported in the face of the current changes in the sector, in order to become the French champions of this field of excellence.

To remain competitive and conquer new markets, companies in the sector need to accelerate the digitalisation of their supply chain. Accelerated SMEs and SMIs will have to think about their digital strategy in order to respond to changing consumer habits: product customisation, near-instantaneous delivery and high-volume production for targeted marketing operations. It is in this context that they will be equipped with the keys to optimise their industrial performance.
