Cosmed (association of SMEs in the cosmetics industry) is organizing for the sixteenth consecutive year a day devoted to the French and European regulations of cosmetic products: the Regulatory Meetings. This day will be held first in Marseille on Thursday 24 March 2016, then in Paris on Thursday 9 June 2016.
This event allows all professionals in the sector to be informed on the latest regulatory news in the cosmetics sector, to exchange with regulatory authorities and experts. These Regulatory Meetings are aimed at company managers, creators, managers or regulatory affairs, R&D, formulators, toxicologists, quality engineers, marketers, responsible pharmacists.
The programme of the conferences
• Annual missions and reports of the control authorities: ANSM and DGCCRF A joint presentation of the 2015 inspections presented by Vanessa Picot, Cosmetics Inspector of the ANSM and Hélène Lagrené, Cosmetics Inspector of the DGCCRF. The topic of the 2016 inspection campaigns will be addressed.
• Variances identified during inspections: presentation of seven concrete cases Jean-Marc Giroux, President of Cosmed, will lead a discussion-debate on the interpretation difficulties encountered in the field.
• Fragrances for the home: regulatory summary, news and developments Room perfumes are not considered cosmetic products. However, this category of products is more and more often present in cosmetic ranges. Nelly Van Chin, from Naturakem and Philippe Berodias, from Bougie et Senteur and Cosmed representative on the AFNOR D90G Commission, will summarize the regulatory requirements and present the projects under discussion to help companies comply with the regulations.
