“Global Bioenergies has developed an innovative, world-class process in France, representing a new decarbonization solution for various industrial sectors,” commented Bruno Bonnell, Secretary General for Investment, in charge of France 2030.

For his part, Marc Delcourt, Co-founder and CEO of Global Bioenergies, declared: “This support from the French State is essential and forms the basis of the overall financing of the plant, which we expect to complete by mid-2024. The plant, which will be located in France, will help to make the most of abundant local resources, reindustrialize the region and create a completely new industry.”

The factory is scheduled to open in 2027.
