The group announced the appointment of Jon Moeller as Chairman of the Board of Directors, effective July 1, 2022. He will assume this role, in addition to his role as President and Chief Executive Officer, following the retirement of David Taylor, the current Executive Chairman.
Jon Moeller joined Procter & Gamble in 1988. Prior to becoming CEO in 2021, he was an integral part of the Procter & Gamble leadership team for more than 20 years.
“I want to recognize and thank David Taylor for his leadership over the past seven years as well as his more than 40 years of service to the company,” said Jon Moeller. “Among other things, he helped the group achieve balanced top and bottom line growth. He also completed the restructuring of our portfolio and led our most significant organizational change in decades. We are now well positioned to continue serving consumers around the world with superior offerings that improve their lives.”
