Historically, La Roche-Posay has always supported patients by offering dermocosmetic products designed to relieve skin that is often damaged by treatment. Today, the brand wants to take its commitment even further with the launch of the Fight For Care program. The objective of this project is to help, raise awareness and provide concrete support to patients.

Advancing knowledge
“To help advance knowledge on this major public health issue, La Roche-Posay is extending its historical collaboration with the most recognized experts in their field, and is joining forces with the MASCC (Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer) and the AFSOS (Association Francophone pour les Soins Oncologiques de Support). By December 2021, La Roche-Posay will contribute to the development of the first international consensus to publish recommendations for the treatment of side effects,” explains the brand.
Supporting patients
As part of its program, La Roche Posay has developed a new online platform. It includes a guide for patients. It is enriched with expert advice on various subjects (pain management, skin care, etc.). The objective is to help patients live better during this period.
Training pharmacists
Pharmacists are among the most important contacts for patients. “Since January 1, 2021, pharmacists in France have been responsible for offering pharmaceutical consultations to patients undergoing oral chemotherapy. But today, only 6% of breast cancer patients seek information from their pharmacist.
