In total, nearly 15,500 companies were scrutinised by The London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), the company that compiles the FTSE (Financial Times Stock Exchange) Global Equity Index. L’Oréal came fifth, and can even claim to be the first French company on the list.

“We are honoured to be once again among the top five companies worldwide in this year’s FTSE Diversity & Inclusion Index and proud to be ranked number 1 in France,” said Nicolas Hieronimus, Chief Executive Officer of L’Oréal Groupe. “This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our teams around the world, as well as our long-standing commitment to fostering a culture where everyone feels valued, respected and able to reach their full potential.”

The 100 most inclusive companies also include Estée Lauder Companies (#8) and Kao Corp (#59).
