A new organizational chart has been drawn up for the Beiersdorf Group’s luxury brand. Philippe Lamy has just been appointed CEO, succeeding Patrick Rasquinet who has been running the company since 2010.
Philippe Lamy is a luxury expert. After spending 13 years in the prestige divisions of the L’Oréal group, he joined Loro Piana, an Italian textile company acquired by the LVMH group in 2014. Eight years later, he joined La Prairie.
“It is a great honor for me to take on this role at La Prairie and I am very excited about the opportunities ahead. The La Prairie house is beautiful and the company has been steadily building its brand positioning over the past few years. I feel truly privileged to be a part of the next chapter of such a luxurious and leading house as La Prairie. It feels great to be back in the skincare industry after more than a decade away,” said the new CEO.
Phillipe Lamy will take up his position on April 2, 2022 and will lead the brand’s Executive Committee based in Zurich.
