Cosmed and FEBEA have launched an appeal to all their members to collect essential hygiene products. These donations will then be distributed to Ukrainian refugees who have arrived in France as well as to the population who have remained there.
The FEBEA has mobilized its 350 members to support the actions of the Agence du Don en Nature (ADN) for Ukrainian refugees. The objective is to collect hygiene products (shower gels, soaps, shampoos, toothpastes, toothbrushes, deodorants, wipes…). Currently, nearly 800 000 products have been collected.
In the coming days, these products will be collected and transported to the ADN warehouse in Hauts-de-France. They will then be redistributed to the network’s referenced associations (Armée du Salut, Groupe SOS, Coallia, Forum Réfugiés, France Horizon…). These associations will be in charge of welcoming the refugees when they arrive in France.
“The cosmetics industry is demonstrating its ability to mobilize strongly and quickly,” said Emmanuel Guichard, General Delegate of the FEBEA. “I would like to thank FEBEA’s member cosmetics companies for their generosity which will allow these Ukrainian refugees to take care of themselves despite their distressing situation.
