The American giant wants to partner with smaller structures to go even further in eco-responsibility. And as there is a real need for sustainable ingredients and packaging, Unilever has launched a call for innovative start-ups in this field. The selected projects will benefit from Unilever’s acceleration program.
Determined to make tomorrow’s cosmetics better, Unilever launched in 2021 the “Positive Beauty” program (a series of commitments and actions to make the world of skincare more fair and inclusive) One year later, Unilever is moving to the second step and wants to collaborate with new actors to find more responsible solutions in terms of sourcing ingredients and packaging.
“Startup-led partnerships are an important pillar to drive growth and innovation. The Positive Beauty growth platform is proving to be a catalyst for finding the biggest innovations from startups and driving large-scale experimentation,” said Baz Saidieh, Global Head of Unilever Foundry.
