All year round
DGCCRF controls: the announced topics
• Good manufacturing practises: As a result of the transfer of powers from ANSM to DGCCRF in this area, and prior to the introduction of mandatory GMP certification, DGCCRF agents will begin to take charge of GMP inspections throughout France.
• Market surveillance: As the DGCCRF has noted that the rate of anomalies remains high, it will continue to track down products on the market that contain banned substances or fail to comply with the restrictions set out in the Cosmetics Regulation.
• Nanomaterials: Controls on this topic, initiated in 2017, will continue this year.
• Claims: The DGCCRF still has its sights set on them, particularly the “With…” claims, environmental claims and claims for suncare products.
