U'Cosmetics 2016: the projects in the running

On February 23, the jury of U'Cosmetics 2016 met in Guingamp to establish the preselection of files for the student competition whose prizes will be awarded on March 17. For this 7th edition, 17 teams were in competition, coming from universities, institutes or schools all over France. The jury members tested the products, evaluated and judged the projects on several criteria: concept, innovation, texture, formula, packaging… 10 were selected in two categories.

The jury's deliberations lasted a full day. A day full of experiences (the theme of this competition!) since each project was studied, analyzed, discussed, tested, commented, rated, before being selected (or not) for the final selection. And the nominees are…

Innovative Concept Award

Complexion flower (IAE de Nantes ) A foundation connected to measure, with diagnosis of skin, capsules and bottle to conceive evolutionary and personalized products for the face.

Icekin by Heliosense (EBI of Cergy) A kit composed of a sunscreen with a sorbet texture and a notebook of 12 ephemeral tattoos that change color when the cream no longer plays its protective role.

Hephaïdon (University of Montpellier) A range for men, mountain sportsmen, composed of six products, from sun cream and sticks to cold shower effect for after-effort…

Le parfum des courtisans (University of Rennes 1, Rennes) A board game to learn the mechanisms of perfume creation in a fun way while discovering the world of the court of Versailles, including a kit to invent new fragrances.
