U'cosmetics, the flagship event of cosmetics in the Great West, has imagined a 2016 edition entirely focused on new sensations, combining sensoriality and technological advances. The U'cosmetics 2016 conference, which will take place on Thursday 17 March 2016 in Guingamp, will allow professionals to project themselves into new trends: innovative galenic products, WOW products, ultra-connected cosmetics, packaging experience, design, merchandising..;

U'cosmetics, two events in one day

Colloquium: The Cosmetic Experience The 7th edition of the U'cosmetics conference will plunge you into the heart of the Cosmetics Experience, to understand a world that moves, discover the challenges of cosmetics 2.0 and respond to new consumer behavior. Next March 17 will be the occasion to exchange with experts, professionals and the specialized press to decipher the new generation cosmetics, innovate and anticipate the major market trends.

 2016 Student Contest To attend the conference is also to discover exclusively the 10 projects nominated for the U'cosmetics competition. U'cosmetics is the first student competition on cosmetic formulation in France. It is open to any team of two to five students, from Bac +3 and more.

The 2016 edition focuses on Cosmetics Experience. The teams, coming from all over France, and presenting different profiles (chemistry, cosmetology, formulation, marketing, design…) are called to compete in two categories : • Innovation formulation prize (two awards will be presented in this category). • Innovative concept award (innovation in one or more aspects: formulation, design, packaging, marketing. This prize is open to both formulated products and files without formulation).

The most creative team will receive the Special price coup de coeur awarded by the organizers.

On March 17, 2016, the 10 nominated teams will defend their project in four minutes and will exhibit their innovative products or concepts, allowing professionals to discover innovative ideas. The most innovative projects will be rewarded with numerous prizes offered by our partners: cosmetic products, presentation of the winning products at In Cosmetics 2016 (on the Brittany pavilion), subscriptions to specialized magazines, etc.
