YSL Beauty takes a stand against violence against women

YSL Beauty s'engage contre les violences faites aux femmes

YSL Beauty has come up with the Abuse is Not Love program in 2020 to prevent and combat domestic abuse. The brand wants to go further, committing to fund university research, train its employees and educate two million people by 2030 on the subject of violence through partnerships with NGOs.

One woman in three will be abused by an intimate partner in her lifetime: this chilling statistic is the starting point for YSL Beauty’s fight against domestic violence.
The aim is to teach as many people as possible to identify the warning signs of an abusive relationship.
To this end, YSL Beauty has formed partnerships with 26 NGOs around the world.

To extend its reach even further, the company has also put educational content online. To date, 911,000 people have been educated online about domestic abuse.
The brand hopes to have a long-term impact on the fight against violence in intimate relationships by contributing to research on the subject.

“If we learn to detect the early signs of abuse, we can more easily ask for or offer help. Together, we can take action,” said YSL Beauty.
