CALMandrin, un anti-inflammaging signé Mibelle Biochemistry

The term Inflammaging is made up of the two words “Inflammation” and “Aging”. The human body’s ability to fight inflammation decreases with age. Therefore, the inflammation can no longer be completely eliminated, and weak chronic micro-inflammation occurs. These also contribute to skin aging.

Scientific literature shows that certain components present in citrus fruits can have an anti-inflammatory effect.
CALMandrin is obtained in a sustainable way by upcycling the peel paste of organic mandarins from the Greek island of Chios, a “waste product” of the perfume distillery.
“For such interesting raw materials, we carry out so-called screenings, where we test different applications. The organic mandarin from Chios, with its high content of flavonoids and antioxidants, fortunately showed positive results in various screenings, including anti-inflammation,” explains the development department of Mibelle Biochemistry.
The challenge during development was the preparation of the viscous paste in order to be able to produce a clear, beautiful and stable extract, a challenge that was met thanks to refined filtration technologies.

Efficacy

The Mibelle Biochemistry’s new active ingredient fights inflammation by significantly improving signs of aging and soothing red and inflamed skin. In addition, it significantly increases the firmness and density of the skin.
