Garnier receives Cruelty Free certification

Garnier obtient la certification Cruelty Free

The number one brand in the L’Oréal stable has just been approved by Cruelty Free International. Garnier is allowed to apply the Leaping Bunny logo on all its products. It indicates that no animal testing has been done. Garnier is the first brand of this magnitude to obtain this certification.

The Leaping Bunny means that the manufacturer has not conducted, sponsored or accepted any tests on animals, neither during the entire manufacturing process of the cosmetic, nor on the ingredients that compose it.

And it is a real painstaking work that Garnier has conducted to reach the precious sesame.
The brand has conducted extensive audits of the 500 suppliers with whom it works to ensure that no animal testing was conducted at any time during the sourcing and manufacturing process. Nearly 3,000 raw materials have been scrutinized.
This research work took several months, but was fundamental for Garnier. Leaping Bunny requires brands to be able to audit their entire supply chain. The label must be awarded to all of a brand’s finished products; individual items cannot be certified separately.
