Hair removal: an essential beauty

The study #confessionsdepilation, conducted by Ipsos for Wilkinson reveals that French women sometimes deprive themselves of an activity because they are badly depilated! In cause, the lack of time and sometimes simply… laziness. Hair stories, in France, in history and in the world…

Today, women can find many solutions to depilate, but the subject remains a source of concern for most of them. Proof of this is that their hairiness is still experienced as a real constraint: 62% of French women have already given up doing something because they were badly depilated! This is revealed by the study #confessionsdepilation, conducted by Ipsos for the Wilkinson razor brand For them with 1,103 women, constituting anrepresentative sample of the French female population aged 16 to 65, interviewed via Internet from 12 to 16 February 2016.

This"chore" has an impact on their behaviour: more than one French woman in two has already abandoned the idea of wearing certain outfits because of a few unsightly hairs. 11% of them even cancelled a love date because they had not anticipated their depilation!
Note: it is mainly younger women (under 35) who have already abandoned the idea of wearing certain outfits in the event of imperfect epilation (65% of them). 42% of women in this age group have already cancelled an activity, while only 19% of older women (60 and over) have given up.
