Cosmeticobs : Could you present your brand ?
Elodie Carpentier : Le Rouge Français is a make-up brand that sublimates women with vegetal pigments with dyeing properties. We are the first brand to have launched this type of product on the market. Our formulations are certified organic, vegan and without controversial ingredients. Our brand has developed a base and a first expertise on lipstick, which is one of the most technical products to work with.
We also offer eco-sourced and refillable packaging.
CosmeticOBS: As a brand, how did you react to the containment announcement?
EC: Like everyone else, we were caught off guard. Especially since we were in the middle of a product launch and we were in the middle of a fundraiser.
Obviously, the period forced us to redouble our efforts and review our entire digital distribution to compensate for the physical losses.
Above all, we strengthened our strategy of influence by working on innovative technologies.
We have created internally an augmented reality filter that allows consumers to try all the shades of French Red.
