Many women report problems as their periods approach.
In order to explore the subject in detail and to offer ever more adapted ranges, L’Oréal will work with Clue, the leader of mobile applications in Femtech (female Technology, editor’s note).

“We are convinced that the innovation we bring to consumers in terms of cosmetics and well-being is at the crossroads of science and technology. Our goal is to develop the best personalized skincare routines for everyone, from the first menstruation to menopause,” says Barbara Lavernos, Executive Vice President Research, Innovation and Technology at L’Oréal.

For her part, Audrey Tsang, Co-CEO of Clue, says she is “happy to collaborate with the world’s leading beauty company to advance the knowledge of the effects of menstrual cycles on skin health.” According to her, users of her app are particularly aware of skin issues that may arise when they are menstruating. And today, cosmetic care that takes into consideration the woman’s cycle is still on the fringe.
