Revieve, a specialist in personalised digital brand experiences using artificial intelligence (AI) and augmented reality (AR), has announced a new partnership with Shiseido to launch the world’s first digital make-up advice experience.
The collaboration between Revieve and Shiseido began in 2019 with the launch of Shiseido’s first digital skincare diagnostic (Skincare Advisor). Since then, the two entities have been working together on a range of projects in the beauty and wellness sector.
“Our partnership with Revieve began in the skincare category and we are delighted to extend this collaboration to makeup today. Shiseido customers can now discover a makeup routine that is right for them,” said Romain Carrega, Director, Prestige Division, Shiseido EMEA.
Consumers can access the digital makeup advisor via Shiseido’s website, where they will be asked to upload a selfie and answer questions based on their desired beauty goals. Using Revieve’s AI selfie analysis technology and user feedback, customers will receive a comprehensive list of recommended products including eye, lip and face makeup. Consumers will be able to try on a product before they buy using realistic virtual trial technology and add their favourite products to their basket, all with a single click.
