The fragrance of Nivea’s snow-white cream in its iconic blue box was a major factor in its success. A true “Proust’s madeleine,” it evokes memories for most people born in the 20th century!
We knew there was a fragrance, but we hadn’t smelled it yet. Now we’ve made up for it with this eau de toilette for the holidays, available all year round (eau de toilette Nivea, 30 ml, €33.90).
Inimitable, the soft, enveloping fragrance (very close to cream) diffuses its powdery-musky scents. The top notes are citrus (orange, lemon and bergamot) and lavender. In the heart, floral notes quickly take over, reinforced in the base by musks and a touch of heliotrope.
A slightly retro “care” scent, very comforting but hyper-trendy in idea, the fragrance of cult creams that have accompanied us since childhood inspiring more and more real perfumes!
In a round white opaque bottle and a blue Nivea case. Enough to revive many a memory!
