The three mixed eaux de parfum Eau Noire, Cologne Blanche and Bois d’Argent, which have been loved and demanded since their creation, are being reissued by Francis Kurkdjian in the Christian Dior Private Collection from September.

Francis Kurkdjian, who arrived in October 2021 as Dior’s Creative Director for Fragrance, remembers his first meeting with the Avenue Montaigne house in 2004.
From this meeting emerged a trio of singular and mixed fragrances, between tradition and audacity, with the idea of a collection of perfumes thought as a perfect silhouette: Eau Noire, Cologne Blanche and Bois d’Argent. The first two were created by Francis Kurkdjian, the third by Annick Ménardo (the only one kept as a permanent reference in the Private Collection). Bois d’Argent invented the idea of universal olfactory elegance before its time. Dominated by a richly powdery iris, the fragrance is enveloped in a mystical incense note on an amber base. A trail that we make our own, an addictive skin-to-skin experience.

Very grand siècle, Cologne Blanche has a princely allure, worthy of a Versailles salon. We meet a luminous orange flower wrapped in a violet accord. A deceptively tenacious Cologne, which resembles a caress on a sensual amber base.
As for Eau Noire, it unrolls on the skin a trio of absolutes and lavender essences of great quality dialoguing with myrrh and the rightly dosed gourmand notes. For a disturbing and chic effect, …
