The hygiene products group has just presented its roadmap to 2025. The main objective is to reduce the packaging of its products and to introduce more and more recycled/recyclable materials.
Like many other manufacturers in the cosmetics industry, Colgate-Palmolive wants to limit its environmental impact. The group has therefore launched a project on the management of its packaging. By 2025, the company aims to achieve:
• 0% unnecessary packaging for all products
• 50% recycled materials (including 25% for plastics)
• 100% recyclable, reusable or compostable packaging
“Innovation today is the key to meeting the challenges of tomorrow. That’s why the R&D teams are working with CSR ambassadors in each Colgate-Palmolive subsidiary,” the group explains.
