Among them, the king of the Cologne is certainly Jean-Claude Ellena who signed the most beautiful of them as the Eau Parfumée au Thé Vert de Bulgari which introduced for the first time the tea note (Eau de Cologne 100 ml, €87) or the Cologne Bigarade at Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle (100 ml, €200).
He reinvents it once again for Le Couvent Maison de Parfum in the Les Colognes Botaniques Absolues collection (which claims the freshness of a Cologne and the intensity of an eau de toilette) with Aqua Mahana (100 ml, €62; 50 ml, €39; 10 ml, €10).
This floral and sunny Cologne features frangipani flower absolute, a powerful and refined flower, a cousin of the tiare, with a mysterious, musky, vanilla breath. It is associated here with black vanilla from Madagascar and ylang ylang from the Comoros, with a note of sea salts at the top.
