In the current economic, health and environmental context, Colgate-Palmolive is determined to help build a better future. The group has just published its CSR report and tells more about its objectives for 2025.
Colgate-Palmolive is on a mission to put a smile back on consumers’ faces. To achieve this, the company has focused its CSR strategy on different pillars.
Generating a social impact
To achieve this, the group intends to:
• Promote access to employment for all
• Support associations and positive initiatives through partnerships and sponsorships
• Raise awareness of oral hygiene among children
Preserving the environment
“Colgate-Palmolive is working on reducing its carbon footprint across all its production chains, including formulas, packaging, recycling, logistics and in-store display, notably by obtaining TRUETM Zero Waste certification for the Compiègne plant in 2021,” explained Caroline Brucker, CSR Manager for France and Benelux at Colgate-Palmolive. “We also aim to be Net Zero Water for countries in water-stressed regions by 2025, and for all sites by 2030.”
In addition, the company announced to bring 100% recyclable/recycled packaging to the market by 2025.
Helping households
Colgate-Palmolive’s ambition is to bring to market products that are formulated ever more sustainably and packaged in environmentally friendly ways.
“It’s up to us to turn today’s issues into exciting opportunities. What better challenge than to co-create a healthier and more sustainable future for all,” said Caroline Brucker.
